About me and my BLog
Hey there! I’m Elise, a college student diagnosed with POTS after it suddenly became debilitating following my first year of college. If it weren’t for blogs and social media I would not have found the integral information and support needed to endure this chronic illness. That is what inspired me to blog about this myself. I enjoy being active and desire to do everything I can to heal my nervous system so I can do the things I love doing once again with little to no pain. While this may be a far fetched goal, I hope to achieve it one day. I love going to the beach, going on walks in nature, yoga, cooking, and socializing with friends.
Goal of “putting an end to POTS progression”
To spread awareness, educate, and provide support so those with dysautonomia can get ahead and slow the progression of their dysautonomia and even go into remission. Healing looks different for everyone with POTS being a spectrum. POTS and dysautonomia as a whole is not well understood among many in healthcare, thus making it difficult to treat. However, treatment is absolutely possible if you advocate for yourself and do your research!
